About

Kova

Kova is the strategy layer for investors who work through agents.

Kova keeps your declared investment rules persistent and gives every agent the same standard. It compares the current portfolio with that strategy and returns a consistent brief.

Kova does not predict markets or offer advice. It measures alignment, explains conflicts, and identifies paths back to the rules you wrote.

You own the strategy, capital, and permission boundary. An external agent may act through other tools you authorize. Kova itself never places a trade.

The operator.

I’m Juan Pemberthy. I’ve spent more than fifteen years building platform infrastructure at companies like Uber, GitHub, and Convergint, and more than twenty years with skin in markets.

The engineer.

Platform infrastructure is the pattern: systems that make judgment repeatable, observable, and durable across interfaces. Kova applies that pattern to agents and investment strategy.

The investor.

The same discipline applies in markets. Strategy only matters if it survives volatility, context shifts, and the pressure to improvise.

The builder and writer.

Gigantes Research (opens in a new tab) is where I publish the market notes and portfolio context around the process. Kova is the strategy layer behind it: the persistent rules, the portfolio, and the alignment check that keeps the plan honest.

Important disclaimer
